Costco Cold Brew Coffee Recipe

This Costco Cold Brew Coffee (homemade, because now they actually sell Costco Cold Brew in cans) is an addiction now. I used to drink 1 cup in the morning & I was good to go. Now I am up to 2-3 cups of cold brew coffee a day…….but it’s so good! I used to use Costco’s coffee beans but I have become addicted to the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe beans, which Costco doesn’t carry. It’s so simple to make. Check it out…….

  • 1 cup Coffee Grinds*(see below)
  • 1/2 gallon water
  • 1/2 gallon Mason Jars (preferably 2, )
  • 1 Large Nut Milk Bag
  • Mix 1/2 gallon water with the grinds and let steep 12-24 hours. Drain into the other Mason Jar with the Nut Milk Bag (see photos below for the bag & mason jars)
  • Almond Milk (optional)

*1 cup coffee grinds is about 1 1/2 cups coffee beans. I prefer a coarse grind, so I grind my beans 6-8 seconds.

You can adjust the coarseness of the grinds and the length of steeping to your preference. It’s easy, cheap & my new addiction. The mason jars & nut bags are from Amazon. You can click the links to see which ones I have purchased. The only reason they weren’t purchased from Costco was because they don’t sell them. They do sell all different kinds of coffee though (Starbucks, Peets, San Francisco Bay, etc) and they get new types of coffee in all the time. Try it out and let me know what you think.
