If you’re a fan of almond milk I highly suggest you try Califia Farms Unsweetened Almond Milk. We normally buy the Organic Silk Almond Milk from Costco but we decided to give this one a try & it was very tasty! It’s not organic, but it’s local (California) & non-GMO. During a binge session of mine I bring a box of cereal to bed along with a bottle of almond milk and watch my wife roll her eyes as I go to town. It’s unsweetened with no sugars, but it’s got a fantastic taste that keeps you coming back for more. Compared to the Organic Silk Almond Milk it’s got no sugar & is about half as much in quantity, so if you don’t go through it as fast as we do, these 2 bottles should be the perfect quantity. I highly recommend trying it with a Cold Brew Coffee (check my Cold Brew Recipe out!!)
It’s only $5.29, which I thought was very cheap. All the common chain supermarkets (Safeway, Albertoson’s, Von’s, etc) carry it for around $5 for 1 container. You are pretty much getting double that from Costco. As mentioned before it’s got ZERO, I repeat ZERO sugars. This is really important since we are always trying to limit the amount of sugar intake within the household. It’s non-GMO, kosher, gluten-free, vegan, BPA free & carrageenan free. It’s good for 3-4 months, as long as you don’t open it & store it in the refrigerator. Once opened, it’s like regular milk, it’s good for 7-10 days. Let me know what you think……
