These Beyond Meat plant based burger patties seem to be the new thing. I keep hearing about these plant based patties everywhere, from Jim Cramer’s show “Mad Money”, to Impossible Burger vs Beyond Meat, & now being carried at Costco. I’m always up for trying new foods, especially ones that are “healthy” (this seems up for debate), but I couldn’t manage to pull the trigger on this. Even though I’m sure it’s cheaper to buy at Costco than the supermarket, it seems expensive for beyond meat Costco patties. At $14.99 for 8 patties, that’s almost $2.00 a patty. The other reason for not purchasing was a quick glance at the ingredient list & it quickly turns into a science project (see ingredient list below). If they do manage to go on sale, I’ll probably give them a try because I do enjoy meatless burgers, but for now I’m impartial to my wife’s homemade veggie patties. They’re Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Kosher, Vegan & contain no soy. For those of you who have tried them, please let me know what you think.
